Good coffee is the perfect start to any day, so finding the best coffee in Kuala Lumpur was a task we didn't take lightly. After months of light-headed research here are the places we think serve you the best versions of popular coffee renditions. Some places are for the lazy Sunday coffee with an iPad, others are reserved for true coffee nerds, but with a little guidance you'll be resisting the urge to order a "Grande" and settle for some true local charm instead.

No matter whether you prefer your ramen Halal or porkified, we have scoured the city top to bottom to find the ramen shops that deserve the hype or slip by unnoticed. Our bonafide broth-worshipper has attacked them in order and formation, and if you don't see a shop in here the chances are we've eaten there but didn't feel it justified the top 10.

Melaka may not strike most people as a coffee destination, but there are a few geeks hiding in the shadows ready to dazzle you with a Peruvian Geisha, a nice floral Ethiopian pourover or a solid espresso. This guide focuses more on the quality of coffee and not the potential for filming a viral tiktok post in an old shopfront. For those kinda guides you're definitely barking up the wrong tree.
