SELERA KAMPUNG | LANGKAWI

MORE TABLES OF SEAFOOD

Choice can be problematic. Endless seas of achingly prepared ingredients can cause quite perilous thoughts to enter the mind as to how and what to tackle. I opted for choosing the trays with the least food in them, thinking that they must then have been the most popular with the locals. The full trays were probably the least liked dishes.

Restaurant exterior with two men seated, motorbike parked. Pink awning, white building.

Whatever I chose was a fresh and tasty lunch, costing barely a couple dollars, and two days later no ill effects on the stomach so it was safe enough to recommend. I didn't see any other white people at most places I ate in Langkawi, they tend to stick to the boring safe places by the beach serving overpriced tosh to morons.

It's the same all over the world. Look elsewhere for your food, not in places full of tourists and english menus.
