AN ATTA ADVENTURE

The online evangelists seem to love this place. Every review is lathering praise on their soft, tender chapatis and succulent curries that dispel belief. Being completely transparent, I found the exact opposite to be true. The chapati here were closer to the thick durable type at Azmi's that you could slap onto your car if you suffered a flat tyre.

The Channa was the kind that is "al dente", another personal preference I tend to avoid. I like to be able to squish my chickpeas with my chapati and soak up more of the curry sauce.

But hey! You do you.

Regardless of the wild calculations of food and it's complications, it was a fun trip to discover a place that I would not return to. I like crossing things off the list as much as adding them.

For me Santa Chapati house does the best in town, and I'm sticking to them when I get cravings.

Khao Soi Nimman promises authentic Northern Thai flavors but delivers bland, uninspired dishes. The noodles are soggy, the curry lacks depth, and the overall experience feels rushed and careless. A disappointing stop for anyone craving genuine Chiang Mai comfort food.
